Heartland of America

Crawfordsville, Indiana
Here we are - parked right in the driveway to the barn.  Lovin' this visit!
What a wonderful experience it is to be able to stay here with our friends Janice and Steve in their home in the Heartland of Indiana.  This is such a new experience for Kirby and I and for Jake too.  They have corn and soy beans growing all around them, the sky is big and beautiful and the quiet is the most quiet we have experienced in a very long time.  Not even a hint of freeway, no barking dogs, nothing.
This farm is right next door.

I had never seen soy beans growing before. Or, if I did, I didn't know it!

This is a blossom on the soy bean plant.  So delicate.
