Success!

This hasn’t happened to us since our very first stop back in South Carolina.  We are the ONLY people in the park!  This is awesome!  I guess these parks are not used much during the week – which is fine by me.  We are at Success Lake in California at a Corp of Engineers Park.  It is not the most beautiful campground we have seen but there's water and hills and green and trees and we are happy!

Success Lake is in the foothills of the Sequoia National Forrest where Kirby and I used to tent camp years ago and even went there for our honeymoon!  We arrived shortly after lunch yesterday and spent the afternoon enjoying our view and the quiet.  I think I am going to like this week!
