Bakersfield River Run RV Park

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at River Run in Bakersfield, CA.  The staff is very friendly and helpful.  Our site (number 62) backed to the dry river bed and had a cement patio, level gravel pad and some shade from the nearby trees. It was very spacious!  Internet and cable worked perfectly and the restrooms were beautiful and spotless!  I think this is our favorite RV park to date.  (Corp of Engineer and state parks are always better though)

This nice building housed a couple of meeting rooms, the office with fully stocked store, restrooms (no showers here) and tucked in the middle is the pool and jacuzzi.
This is a first come, first served party area.  Kirby used the grill but it was just too sunny and hot to eat out there.
This dirt trail runs just outside the fence and there are two locked security gates that give access.  We were out there almost every morning - Jake loved it!  There are also lights at night for added security.

I couldn't find anything wrong with this place except maybe the freeway noise but it was not that big a deal.  River Run is as close to a 10 as you can get!
